Hi, I'm Jade!
I'm a full-time wedding photographer based in Houston, Texas. I travel to cover weddings and events all over the Houston area and I travel!
I have worked in the wedding industry since 2015 when I started shooting small elopements for family friends. After shooting more portraits and understanding the facets of more event-based photography, I turned my passion to weddings exclusively in 2017. Since then, I have shot more weddings than I can count in Houston and California.
I would describe my photography style as candid, documentary, and actively fun! I love capturing moments as they happen, acting as a fly on the wall (or dancefloor). I want you to remember the moment when you look back at your photos, not how long it took to get one shot.
When you work with me, you will get a photographer who cares about your wedding day and how you experience it. I've done everything from bustle a bride to console moms, and everything in-between because I want you to focus on the joy of the big day.

1. I love pizza more than any other food
I'm a big pizza fanatic. There's a special place in my heart for a good pizza during a wedding - no matter what time of the night. Late-night wedding snacks are one of my favorites!
2. I have had my own business since I was 11
J. Ernest Media has seen many iterations, from sports videography to what I do now. Wedding photography has been the one thing that has stuck to me like glue!
3. When I'm not editing, you can find me: sleeping.
I spend a lot of time in the day editing, so much so that I end up falling asleep any moment I can. Editing is such a calming process for me that I find it relaxing at all times of the day and enjoy a good nap in between galleries.
4. My friends would describe me as: Kind
I've got a really big heart and I really appreciate every opportunity I'm given to share the love and joy I find in the world.
5. I like to listen to photography podcasts
I take photography very seriously so I love to listen to other photographers when they are talking about their process and the things they like to do. I love learning new tips and tricks and just learning new things on a drive or sitting in Starbucks while I work on my own editing.
